  As a family traveling with a 15month old, the two bedroom apartment walking out to the pool (room 101) we hired was ideal. Some of the rooms located closer to the carpark can be more noisy. There are two beaches located nearby. Surin beach is the closer, and cleaner, whilst Bang Tao is a further walk.   It's one of the best resort I ever stayed in so far. I stayed in luxury sea view pool villa and it was amazing. Me and my couple loved it, the sea view from the villa was breathtaking.   Magnificent atmosphere and 5 star service. We stayed in the resort 6 days in jan of 2011. All nice words about Eric and his approach to hotel service wich I red in the web before trip were true. It is far from the beach but it doesn`t metter a lot because he offer a transfer service to beach and back for free.

  We loved our stay at Baan Mandala Villa 7. Only a short walk to Bang Tao beach along a small road with more or less no traffic. The area is very quiet but close to everything you need. Great restaurants on the beach are within a 5 min walk. We would recommend to hire a car. The villa has everything you need, spacious with high ceilings and a very large swimm - Really close to the beach - the "Great room" was spectacular! The beds were the softest I have slept on in a long while. iPod docking station came in handy as there was no other form of music, other than the television. There were even movies available for free for the dvd. I loved the privacy. Calling out for dinner is simple and food is fantastic.
