The location was brilliant for us, far enough from the road so there's no noise but in walking distance to the beach.   Staff were great, Poppy made the time to talk to us. Loved the quiet bungalows with loads of room. Breakfast was fine. Didn't see the pool but assume that was in nearby hotel.   Lanta Mermaid is a first-class boutique hotel. Small and personal with a great breakfast and very clean accommodations. The walk to the beach is just 2 minutes across the (busy) road. We were in a room on both sides of the building. The mountain view room was actually nicer and more quiet.   Loved everything about this resort! Me and my fiancee stayed there for almost a week during low season (end of August) and we highly appreciated the quite and "low key" atmosphere. The staff was super polite, friendly and attentive/observant. The beachfront villas were elegantly furnished and kept high standard.
