  Dusit Island Resort has a beautiful location on an island in the middle of the river. It is not far from the centre of the town. You can get there by tuk-tuk or taxa in 5-10 minutes.   This would be among the cleanest places that I have ever stayed in. The room are very light and spacious and immaculate. The all white an oyster grey curtains are fantastic and the decor is understated and vey refined - as good as any 4-5 start hotel in BKK or anywhere The staff were most obliging.
