  Fantastic large pool overlooking the river Kok. Staff very friendly, although English very limited in the restaurant. Poolside meals were good value at weekends (offer).   Beautiful, tranquil setting overlooking the river. Has its own private pier for boat trips one of which we took to ride elephants and visit the hill tribes. Excellent spa facilities and infinity pool. Great restaurants serving local fare, Italian or B-B-Q food. The night market is a great place to experience local cuisine for very little Baht!

They are very clean and well maintained. The staff are helpful. Most of all I would like to commend Laluna on its beautiful landscapping of its garden and the passage way to the rooms. The swimming pool is also neatly sculptured. It is peaceful and quiet. The breakfast is quite normal.

  Dusit Island Resort has a beautiful location on an island in the middle of the river. It is not far from the centre of the town. You can get there by tuk-tuk or taxa in 5-10 minutes.
