  Room is big, with storage space, table and couch. I liked the simple design and the big painting on the wall. And the beds are very comfy.   This would be among the cleanest places that I have ever stayed in. The room are very light and spacious and immaculate. The all white an oyster grey curtains are fantastic and the decor is understated and vey refined - as good as any 4-5 start hotel in BKK or anywhere The staff were most obliging. Only 60THB taxi fare to city centre

  The frendliness of the staff was the outstanding feature. The location was excellent, on the river but close enough to town to walk easily.The tours we booked through the Akha House were somewhat for the adventurer although our small group found the places very interesting and enjoyable.
