  Had a weekend getaway to Krabi with my girlfriend on May 2013. We stayed at Holiday Inn for 3 nights and the service was excellent! On the first day, we reached the hotel at 9.20 am and the hotel allowed us to make an early check-in just within 10 mins time for free! However, it came to my surp - We stayed for 5nights in August. We've been on our honeymoon. The room was large and comfortable, but the bathroom wasn't very clean. They use wood on the shower, which obviously hard to keep clean. Every afternoon it was a terrible smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice, environment was lovely, pool and the area is excellent. The front door staff was very friendly, really what you'd expect!

  Since I've read quite a bundle of other traveller's reviews before I finally chose this hotel, I think it's fair to post some of my thoughts also so the followers will have another opinion to refer to. We had a deluxe room which had an amazing view over the cliff&sea& a bath tub on the terras. Very nice pool. Great location, in the shopping street with many restaurants&bars. Only 5min walk to aonang beach where you can take boats to all the islands. Nice personnel, especially Ella who gave us good advice concerning what to see in the area. We loved her enthousiasm and dedication to customers.

  Location was perfect for connecting by boat to Railay or Tonsai. The pool was very big and great for swimming laps. There is a coffee shop on site for espresso and small snacks.   This hotel is absolutely beautiful. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from. The pools are quiet and beautiful and most importantly you are right along the beach. The beach is gorgeous: covered in shells, blue waters, mountains in the background. This part of the beach also seemed less crowded than others. We ate breakfast every morning next to the beach. The views were incredible. We booked trips thru the hotel and everything was professional.   It was a pleasant stay with Mercure Krabi Deevana. It surprise me with a birthday cake in the hotel room after our dinner. We never thought the hotel would be that thoughtful. As for the facilities, we are happy about it even though it is a little bit far from the town(by walking about 10-15min) and from airport is around 30min to reach. Not far from the beach, about 20 minutes on foot or 3 mins by tuk-tuk (20 Baht per person one way). Nice swimming pool. Price/quality ratio is very cool, we paid about $65 per night, and the hotel looks like solid 4 stars (~$90-100). The restaurant is ok, but 70% of our dinners we had outside.
