Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck. The hotel is located very close to the train station and it is possible to walk to the hotel, even with luggage. The rooms are spacious enough and nicely decorated with a huge balcony and flat screen tv. Coffee and tea making facilities are included. The private bathrooms have both bath and shower. Breakfast is standard and sufficient and the hotel staff is friendly and professional. The hotel deserves more that its three stars

The hostel is a bit out of the center of Zermatt, although this isn't a huge problem since the town is pretty small. Only four beds in the room I was staying in, which was nice, and lockers for backpacks that operate with a 2CHF deposit. Beds were reasonably comfortable and each has its own reading light.
