  Reasonably priced old style, small hotel with a very friendly owner, and a really nice Italian restaurant, in a great location. No TV or WiFi, which was actually great too!   The 3 room room apartment with an open sitting area and kitchen had plenty of room for our family to relax. The location is close to all nearby amenities including rentals, restaurants, shops, the river etc. The neighbors were very friendly as well. We stayed for a week and never got tired of the excellent views from the balcony! The breakfast was a short walk away but this didn't matter as it was excellent quality. It was also really useful to have a washing machine and kitchen facilities so we saved a lot of money there.

  Excellent hotel. We travelled by motorbike and were provided with undercover parking. Good location with easy access. First class restaurant and facilities. Could not fault - Cooperation of owner, going out of his way to all that was needed.

  The location of this hotel is absolutely astounding. When we arrived at the hotel we were really pleased. The hotel is about half kilometre outside wonderful but slightly busy Grindelwald town. The hotel has private rooms available, but I opted for shared accommodations for the first time in my travels. I was not let down.
