  Lovely hotel a short walk from the station. Situated on the corner of a big park. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel clean and tidy with beds made every day. They don't have double beds as its two singles pushed together. Room has NO air con but a fan is provided. Only one English channel on TV (but who goes on holiday to watch TV!) lovely bathroo - This was our first trip to Switzerland and the first place we arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel's bar a great way to finish the day.   The hotel is located on the main street of Wengen which is like the Hobbit Shire, but for humans. Oliver the manager and Bridgette the front end staff were so helpful. The hotel is very comfortable with a beautiful pool, great breakfast buffet and overall charm.   My husband & I stayed with Fritz & Gabi in June for a week. The chalets are beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is just on the edge of Wilderswil away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the centre and train station, it's a perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region.
