  Stayed in this charming hotel with excellent service for 11 nights. The hotel is at an ideal location, a five minute walk from the beach, the retail area, and the old walled part of the city. The rooms are modest but there is a great terrace off the fourth floor that offers one of the best views of the city. Lluis helped so much with everything that we had nothing to worry about. (Restraunts, sightseeing, directions, where to go, etc.) Hotel location is very good, ~5 mins from the beach. There is a really nice walking path up to the mountains, it takes 10-15 mins to get to wonderful views. Parking helped a lot. Terrace is really peaceful and nice.

  We stayed in MarBlau for a weekend and it was wonderful. First - location, close to the bus station and only 7 min to the beach. Second - friendly staff and cozy atmosphere in hotel. we had superior double room with balcony faced to the street, but it was not noisy at all. What really impressed us was breakfast - not typical for spanish hotels in a good - The staff were very friendly and helped us out with recommendations for places to eat, which turned out to be very good. Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided with fresh towels etc. The hotel is ideally situated if you come to Tossa de Mar by bus. It is right in between the bus station and the old town. We had a fridge and the bathroom was quite big, and the balcony was great. We would definitely stay there again if we went back to Tossa de Mar :)

  The hotel is run by a mother and daughter. They were charming, extremely helpful and fluent in English, French, Spanish and probably more! The location was perfect and quiet too, being on a pedestrianised part of the street. Lovely breakfasts served outside overlooking the beach in the sunshine.   My husband and I stayed at Hostal Alba during three weeks in Yuly-August this year. It was the best of all our vacations! We travelled a lot and this was a chance to compare.   We had a great time in this hotel. The staff was comforting clear and polite!. The room was very nice and quiet, Also the exchange of Towels on a daily base was very welcome, the room was clean and tidy, we will go back in september this year to this very nice hotel, the location is perfect.
