The room and bathroom were generously sized and were very light, clean, quiet and comfortable with stunning views from the french windows over the vineyards and mountains beyond. Owner very charming and helpful, though beware latest check-in time is 2000hrs. We were late arriving from Santander and the ferry, but the owner had waited for us. If you arrive after he has left, there is a number to ring on a notice attached to the main door. There is no restaurant, but the owner recommended a reasonable establishment in the town

  It would be difficult to find a more charming place to stay in the heart of the Rioja wine country. A wonderful atmosphere in a building dating from the 1700's, beautifully decorated and filled with lovely furniture.
