We loved the view from the room. Looking out over that dramatic gorge with the historic convent and mountains in the background was really wonderful. The location was also fantastic, being right down the block from the cathedral. The hallways had a really interesting layout, and the place was overall charming. We felt it was an excellent value for the money. We booked a twin bed room, somehow the hostel arranged us to stay in an apartment with one big bedroom, one big living room and a kitchen and didn't charge us extra fee. The apartment has a nice view of an ancient temple, and when you open the building door, there's a small plaza in front of you.
所有评语 » The fantastic building seems to have been taken out a story book. It s like visiting a museum house. The pictures match the ones on booking. The sloping floor in room. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. Free wifi. The view from breakfast area is fabulous. The price - 35€. It was really characteristic hotel located cliff. View from my valcony was so shiny and beautiful. Every famouse place in Cuenca just close to Hotel. Just stay in Hotel you can feel romantic spain and real Cuenca I difinately say, It was greater than any other hotel in Cuenca. Great location and view. Can see the parador and awesome view directly from our balcony. The room is spacious with nice historic decoration. Definitely try their dinner if possible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. the hotel perfect, the restaurant perfect, the view from the terase of the restaurant priceless, and the fact that we had a room without bathroom could not have bothered me less. i absolutelly recommend this place to everybody!. Lovely room with views. The hotel facolities are on different levels which adds interest. Parking is a challenge as the hotel is on a small narrow street. Good location, in the old town of Cuenca. We booked a room with a view and it had a balcony that we could enjoy for a drink. Spacious room with comfortable bed. The food at the restaurant of the hotel is really good. Shared bathroom experience was really pleasant because the facilities were so clean and near the room. The view from the room, that the room was very comfortable and warm (it was a cold night!), and the historic character and charm of the building itself. Very nice monastery turned into hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. My only comment for something that could use improvement would be that the mattresses were so-so. Expensive (9€) breakfast - you pay for the view actually, I suggest walking into the nearby Plaza+Cathedral and having it there for half the price.No AC in our room - can be a problem in summer, although it wasn t too hot. The shared WCs need to be improved. Not all of their staff speak English but not a big problem to me. Parking will be challenging. Nothing much. We liked the simple monastic furnishing of the room which was in keeping with its history but the rugs were pretty grimey and could definitely have done with replacing! And maybe some newer towels too.... No english speaking TV channels, not even bbc or cnn. No wifi signal in the rooms, only by reception. Parking, choose for the public parking in the Street of San Pedro... nearby,safe but it costs you 16€ a day. I had to park so far away from the Posada and had difficulty finding it with my gps. The Internet didn't work in the room. We had to have a Skype meeting and we had to hold it in the reception area. The description of the hotel* implied that all rooms have a view; ours did not (it faced the wall of a building across the narrow street in front of the hotel). We were disappointed not to experience the view of the canyon from a hanging house. * These rooms with monastic ambience used to be the cells of the priests and monks of San José College, and have views over the rooftops of the Cathedral's cloister. Small issue, but we had to leave our room to access the wifi. wifi available only in hotel lobby, breakfast needs improvement. VERY noisy plumbing system from both our bathroom and the drainage of others. no wifi. No Wifi to the room. No parking nearby. Trying to find it!! No parking near by. Lack of hot water. Uncomfortable pillows. Nothing was disappointing. no internet. The room was very hot even with the radiator turned off because the pipes that feed it are exposed and piping hot.
