  The pensione is central, quiet, clean and comfortable. The air con was a pleasant respite from 39 degree temp outside for a mid afternoon siesta. The hosts were friendly and pleasant although we were new to Spain and they had little English we didn't converse much. Entry was by ringing the doorbell which was good for security but made us feel awkw... 别人怎么说 » ard when we thought they might be resting. - We stayed 1 night in Pension el Portillo and the room was perfect for that time. It is a rather small family-run business in a very good location (around 5 mins walk from La Mosquita and Alcazar), clean and comfortable, with a lovely owner. I would not choose it for longer stay (3-4 days) but it was perfect for 1 night.

  I am really grateful to Esther, the staff member. We had some complications with coming before 10 pm but there was no problem with the check-in a bit later. Unfortunately we also had some stomach illness and some of us could stay a few hours longer after the check-out time. The staff was helpful. No words, Cordoba is worthy of visit. It looks nice and offers a good quality of stay. - We were given very good information about Cordoba on our arrival which is more than I would expect from a hotel. The hotel is charming and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available for 3 euros but we had an early appointment so were unable to try it. The location is excellent. We hope to visit Cordoba again and would definitely stay in this hotel.
