If you are stopping over in Madrid, this is the place to stay. A brilliant place in what is a quaint, quiet little village, but literally 15 minutes to your terminal for flights. You are picked up in a mini bus, and dropped back in time for your flight. Efficient, clean, and well appointed. One of the few places we found that had a fridge. Considering how close you are to the airport it is very quiet. Having double glazing ensures a quiet location.

Breakfast was amazing starting from 4:00 am which is great for
passengers taking early flights.
I was given a room with poor internet connection which I really needed, when I requested another room for this reason I was given another one at once without any hassle and even the receptionist suggested if the problem persisted in the new room to tell him and he will connect me to the internet provider support directly. I was really impressed. The new room had very strong reception.

The room was clean, huge and the staff was very attentive. Room service was great, in terms of prices and food selection. A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time.

We stayed at the Axor for one night before our flight home after touring around Spain. Super modern hotel very close to the airport. We must have been upgraded, because our soom was huge. We had a whole studio with a sleek bathroom.The shuttle was excellent. We used it from the airport after dropping off our rental car and then the next morning back to the airport for our flight.
