  Manaar House is definitely one of the best places to stay in Durban/Umhlanga. We stayed there for three nights in the self Catering Apartment. The a/c duplex unit was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well maintained.   The grounds were beautifully kept. Staff very friendly and helpful. Value for money. Great breakfast. I enjoyed my short stay. - It was very close to where I needed to be. For work and for only 1 or 2 nights it was perfect.

  A big comfortable bed, friendly and very helpfull staff. Secure parking. Cleaning staff did an excelent job. Very business friendly when I needed to attend to some emails, they had the facality for me to do so at no extra cost. I felt home. Booking in and out was very quick with no hassels.   For an overnight this was a good choice; our arrival was late afternoon into Durban and we were nervous about driving in the dark. It quickly falls dark around 18.00, apparently year round. Quiet,clean & comfortable with plenty of hot water & good helpful staff.
