  Lovely views of the ocean from the chalets. Very friendly people all round and hearty meals. Surprisingly good wine selection.   Warm welcome. Customer service was exceptionally good - nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were extremely comfortable with great sea views and well-equipped. A home from home. - The room and staff/manager were warm and welcoming. The location on the beach was excellent. In all it was a very pleasant stay.

  The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. Also the Boxer dog belonging to the owners' son is the most gorgeous dog I've eve - My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended. We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........

The lodge is perfectly placed -just 5 minutes drive from the south gate. If you're going to Addo this place is ideal and the hosts Isabelle and Christoff are most obliging - Isabelle and Christophe were the most brilliant hosts and ran the hotel in a lovely relaxed manner. The room was wonderful and the outdoor shower enchanting. It was a brilliant place to stay for the Addo Elephant Park just 10 minutes drive from the gates. I would definitely stay there again. The food was very good, the room clean and very comfortable.

  Liz and Peter they run the place and they do this really well! We had a warm welcome at arrival. The place is so nicely located next to a river with stunning views into the wild.
