  I loved the roominess and airiness of the apartment/room I had. It was clean, well furnished and whatever didnt work well was replaced quickly. The room was a bit cold especially the tiled floors but the bed did have an electric blanket and another portable heater. The location was superb for me and very near Sandton city and - This apartment hotel is highly recommended. Homely, friendly atmosphere, access to the garden and self-contained, comfortable units. I was a solo traveller, and had a two-bedroom unit which could sleep four persons. It is ideal for independence and self-catering as required. A taxi service is available all the time. The staff are very accommodating especially at reception.

  Loved the warm reception of the staff especially the lady in charge at the reception. I appreciated their friendliness to my young children especially, who were all over the place.   letsbookhotel.com secured deposit of r600 and due to lateness of checkin this was not visible to owners so they charged the full amnt again. letsbookhotel.com did phone and apologise, however, we await the r600 to be reimbursed - Marion Lodge is a good place to stay if you're in Joburg.   We only used this place to start our trip through South-Afrika. It has lots of nice stuff to do for it's guest. A nice big jacuzzi, pooltable, sauna, you name it. It has a nice small colony of birds in de garden that you can feed. We had the little cabin in the garden which had a very nice shower and a great feel to it.
