  The location was great, close enough to all the activity but not so close that you are woken up or disturbed. The room was clean and the majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful.   Honestly say this is one of the best if not the best hotel I haver stayed in. Staff amazing, cinema for the kids, lazy leopard bar for great cocktails food and views, best hotel breakfast I have ever had and rooms to die for. Just amazing - Staff very friendly and efficient. Very good wine tasting with food pairing in restaurant.

  We stayed three nights at B.I.G. in one of the worst downpours, with hail, seen by Cape Town in years. This managed to mess up our plans.... But due to Amilion, Linda, Tulua, and Amy, we were able to have a wonderful time anyway. The rooms were - We were welcomed with a traditional South African braii - barbecue! How much better can you get to meet everyone and get comfortable with the Cape Town groove?! We loved the staff - from the owner to the housekeepers - they really took good care of us while allowing us to still enjoy the "backpacker-style" of lodging. They helped us plan our days to use our time and $$ so we could get to do all the things we hoped to enjoy in our 5 nights stay. The Dave Matthews Band concert brought us 8,000

  The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed.   It was very clean and the location was safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More luxury than you might expect from a bed & breakfast (guest house). Really charming. We slept very good. (I would ask for a room which is not next to the breakfast area.) Overall we would come back!
