Location is the best, just 200 m from the prominent Chinatown MRT (can walk even with wheeled baggage- we had 4!), which is connected to every part of the city's sights by MRT/ bus. The hip Clark Quay is about a 5 min walk away. The rooms are clean, have a window and all essential facilities. For the price, and the location (right on temple street), it is a great pick for solo, family, or backpackers. Enough free literature available at the reception and quite efficient staff, though not too in.
所有评语 » The Inn is only a few metres from the Chinatown Markets & the mrt is so close that if you have a fair amount of baggage, you won't have far to drag it if you catch the train to or from Changi. The rooms are not big but really clean and there's no elevator but its a very short climb up the stairs anyhow.. Your hardly ever there so its not a big deal! There's plenty of sightseeing close by, malls and eating establishments are everywhere within a couple of minutes walking distance so you'll al. Very nice and quite cheap hotel for Singapore in an excellent location in the middle of Chinatown and a few steps away from the MRT station. The room was not so big but everything was working perfectly: warm & cold water, water pressure, fridge, aircon. Friendly staff also. Really perfect. good location in china town, 2 minutes walk from the china town metro. staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel till our flight that evening. room was clean and comfortable. near the night market but you could not hear any noise at night. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. The location is great. It's very near to the MRT. We can walk for 2 or 3 minutes. The hotel is new and the room is clean. I like it very much and will stay there again if I fly to Singapore. Tasteful restoration tiles, wood and furniture gives charm and character In the middle of Chinatown and right next the MRT Free wifi throughout. Overall, a benchmark 3* in terms of value for money, cleanliness and good service without fuss. Perfect location in the heart of Chinatown and close to nearly all main attractions of Singapore, nice and stylish hotel rooms (though bit small) in a lovely old-style building and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again :). The hotel is every inch very clean., Has a very good smell from the reception to the room itself., Crispy linens everyday., Not to mention its accesible location to all direction of interest.. Happy that we have stayed here. The location in Chinatown was fantastic. It was very close to the Chinatown MRT station (5 minute walk) and the Maxwell Rd Food Centre. No lift (but it has rooms just on 1st and 2nd floors), but well indicated on the hotel website. Small rooms, but packs everything in that space efficiently; plus it's the centre of Singapore, so can't expect huge rooms for that price!. There isn't anything I didn't like about The Inn. It filled my needs perfectly!. No seat in rooms, so I couldn't write or type. No other negatives. The walls seemed to be a bit thin, so sometimes you could hear the kids in the next room a bit, but we didn't mind. No lift and no offer of help from the hotel staff. The rooms are a little small but not complaining. No WiFi access in the room, Only at the lobby. Rather noisy till midnight. No elevator. However, the guy at the front desk helped me to bring my bags up to my room. When I offered him a tip for helping, he refused to take it. So turns out, no elevator wasn't such an inconvenience for me. The aircon: right above the bed and is hard to adjust in a comfortable way. The pillows are uncomfortable. The room was good but a change of bedding would of been nice at least once in 5 days, also the bathrooms need updating with new shower curtains as mine was mouldy at the bottom. Abrupt request for payment on arrival before a welcome from man at reception. Only free-to-air TV in room, no cable or satellite. Some of the bathroom fixtures were wobbly, the flush was out of order (which we managed to fix ourselves). But these were minor concerns only. Room was very tiny, as usual in Singapore. The lack of lift makes it hard to carry your luggage to 3rd floor and back. The price is very high for such a small room and a no-lift building. We didnt have any bad experiences ... none. Small space No lift. I would have liked a chair and table or desk. I found a baby cockroach in the 1st day. No lift so you need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Walls paper thin heard everything from the couple bonking not nice. It was difficult during Chinese New Year to get in and out of the front street. A couple of drawers would be handy. Also a few coat hangers. Toilet too close to shower screen, made it difficult to sit on. Window faced onto a brick wall. Wi-Fi signal not good inside the room. The room needs to be a bit larger as there was nowhere to put our suitcases and the bathroom door was very difficult to open and close. In the bathroom there are small bug. a bit worn but acceptable for budget hotel. Very small room, but fine for a short stay. We were told at 19.30 that we couldn't get a bus to the airport. Is this true?. Rooms are too small and there is no window in most of the rooms.
