Friendly, attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely heritage building - so much nicer than staying in some impersonal international high-rise. Location in China town with plenty of great eating places (try the amazing Moojaa down the road). Close to a station with easy access to all parts of the city. Nice extra touches such as real coffee machines in rooms and reception area. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return.
所有评语 » We liked everything,,we are quite tall and e wn though the rooms are small the bed was very comfortable and roomy. We loved the small courtyard off our room, all the amenities were there our room was serviced everyday and everything was spotless, staff were very welcoming, and it was so closeto the MRT and within easy walking distance to Chinatown, bars and Restaurants in the area. We would stay there again and recommend to our friends. Quaint boutique hotel, still rather new, so everything is clean. The rooms are small, but if you are just using the rooms to sleep, then rest assure that a good night sleep awaits you. Great location, just down the road to Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar. Love there free nibblies and ice creams after a night out. Plus try the coffee across the road its great. When we complained about the mis-selling done, they changed our room to a much better and lovely room. We liked their responsiveness and they did make up for the mis selling. Make sure when you book a room in this hotel, that it's not the small one where the bed is 1 foot away from the bathroom. First stay but will return.Staff were excellent and friendly.Yes the rooms are compact but perfect for a few days.Free coffee and snacks in the lobby was a nice touch.Breakfast served next door, although no hot choices available the selection was adequate. The loctaion was enough away from the city noise and still close enough to mass transit and shops. There's a store right next to the hotel. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. An area of Singapore we had not stayed in before so were pleased to find a variety of restaurants to eat in right near the hotel. Location quite central, with 2 MRTs within walking distance. Clarke quay, CBD, marina bay just a few stops away. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Plenty of dining options around the hotel. Location. 5 min to subway station. Nice, non-ordinary hotel design. Friendly personnel, ready to help. Reception lady was helping me to catch a taxi on the street. Coffee machine in the room. Staffs were really cute and helpful. They were related with us every time during accommodation. when we have to pay for upgrade room they discount for us and their attitude was very helpful. The friendliness of the staffs makes me n my fiancé feels welcome. The cosines of the room makes us feel relax... We will b lookin forward to be staying at e porch the next time we visit ;). Loved the staff, the coffee and the ice cream. Unfortunately the hotel has an arrangement with the cafe next door for breakfast (not owned by the hotel). I think the cafe takes advantage of this by charging outrageous prices for a very mediocre breakfast with stewed coffee from an urn and burnt toast from a toaster which has seen better days. They even had the cheek to charge for service when it was buffet serve yourself! For the same price ($23.50) you can get a delicious evening meal in many of the nearby restaurants. Bathrooms are on the small side, just a little to cramped. Got an email from letsbookhotel.com to upgrade for a better room. We did but the room given was far different from the picture from the email. It was ridiculously small and we felt like inside a small box. Worst there was water coming out from the a/c dock and the utility man said the cause was because we opened the porch door. Another ridiculous answer because why do they balconies (with balcony chairs and table) if it can't be accessed. You can hear the bathroom next door being used.If management could put some milk for the room tea and coffee. There was no shower door. I did not like water splashed everywhere when I shower. I felt mislead on the "gym", it only had three cardio machines. Rooms are quite small, especially the shower area. Room is tiny. Price for such room is bit high. There is a bar or smth close by, at night it was so noisy that it was difficult to fall asleep. Bed was a bit short for my 185 cm height. Some rooms are unacceptable for that kind of beautiful hotel. every room must be like their high level rooms. Thanks to they change our room as high level room otherwise we can not stay small or no window room. of course we have to pay extra:(. Shower didn't work correctly. There is no small desk at the room (just de bed). Regular Rooms are quite small. No DVD player to play my favourite DVDs. Rooms are a bit small No windows but knew that before I booked. Rather cramped room. It was not easy getting in and out of the shower room - more like getting into a wardrobe!. It's a pity that breakfast is organized in the bar next door. Breakfast is too expensive for what is offered. not too near mrt, no bathrobes, some amenities are showing signs of wear & tear but overall still v well designed & posh, room a little small but cosy. No soundproof walls. You can hear a lot of noise from walking above and from closing doors. This can really disturb the sleep. Room is rather small with no windows, otherwise comfortable stay. Small Rooms. The gym is morelikely is a room with one treadmill,one cycling machine and crosstrainer . too bad cant really working out in this hotel, but not a big issue to me. Rooms are tooooo small. It is claustrophobic at times. For the amount of money charged, its expensive. Also, there is no room service. our room was tiny but remember it's boutique....nice quite area in walking distance to Chinatown!. Could have used a pool. There is not enough sound-proofing between rooms, so you may hear the movements and interactions of others. The room [street view] so small, but so nice too. Room on the ground floor cannot keep the blind on since outside is sidewalk with pedestrian passing by. The rooms are very nicely fitted and designed but they are small. Very very small cramped rooms (both standard room and balcony rooms) and big step up into bathroom. A bit too expensive. The room is very small. A little bit noisy at night My room have kitchen smell from restaurant near by. - limited TV channels. None. walls were a bit thin, but luckily it was quiet enough in the evening. Freezing air conditioning compare to outside warm. Loud muzic in the lobby. The room was extremely small. It was difficult to manage 2 suitcases in such a small area. Breakfast organisation was poor value. $20 per person for a continental breakfast was very poor value. Using the shower without a curtain caused very wet floors which could be dangerous. Unable to use a hairdryer in the bathroom. Rooms a little cramped. My room had a window but they didn't open so I couldn't see out.
