It is best if you have a car to get all the way up there, though. Or maybe catch the bus? Don't know. I even got to experience snow in the afternoon and clear sunny day the next morning.   It was a nice stay in ålesund hostel. For a small price you can have a kind and helpful service ( even when you get sunburn ;)), clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.
