  I found the hotel to be well presented despite reading reviews of the rooms being dated. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.

  My husband and I stayed at Citybox from the 25.10.13 to 27.10.13 without any problems. I agree with some reviews below, it is a hostel and not a hotel. However we had a very comfortable stay in an en suite room in an expensive city. This place was not only cheap but also walking distance to everything as Bergen is a small city. Our bed was comfort... 别人怎么说 » able, our shower was warm and our sleep was uninterrupted. No tv in the rooms but my husband loaded a couple movies for us to watch on his tab. The wi - Very close to the railway (5 min max. walking) and to the city center (10 min walking). Kitchen with microwave oven and tables. The cutlery can be borrowed from the bar opposite to the kitchen. The rooms are clean and the shared bathrooms are most of the times clean (mostly depending on the other guests which are sharing the bathrooms with you). The room had an electrical heating system, which was very good.

  Design of the main building. Very cosy and traditional, restaurant and wifi are avaliable. Lots of hiking trails and amazing waterfall 10 minutes away. - The owner is very friendly and wait for us until 23:00. The room has kitchen so that you can bring your own food and cook. I like it!:)

  It was a really nice apartment and we enjoyed it all very much. We had our own floor with private bath, kitchen and living room, even free wifi, a laptop and tv! Laptop is attached to the tv which is really nice, you can watch whatever you want online. Internet works fine :) All the locks on the doors are working. For the rest, you can cook yourself and if you need more towels or anyth - Alot of thought has gone into the needs of a traveller in an expensive country.
