  Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options.   The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. The unit we stayed in was extremely well presented with some really nice personal touches added. Very clean and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

  This motel is just beautiful. The present photos do not do it justice, our studio apartment was fabulous, spacious, lovely decor, large comfortable bed, excellent furnishings, refreshing colours, and immaculately clean. The staff went out of their way for us. We had to be somewhere by 11am and asked if we could park our car at the motel. Out of the 3 places we stayed in, the staff here were simply the best, friendly and only too willing to help out, with best places to eat and what attractions to see and offering umbrella's as they could see it was going to rain on our walk. (which it did). We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, and it was like luxury, clean, modern and comfortable with free wifi to top it all off! Hubby now wishes I booked our whole stay here and not just the 1 night.
