Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options. The breakfast was marvelous! -

Mike gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and he volunteered to drive us into town one morning.
The view from the room is spectacular, facing east into the rising morning sun over the bay.
The breakfasts were more than we could eat.

Waiora Apartments was set in a lovely peaceful bush setting, lovely timber with lovely bed upstairs, clean and tidy. Downstairs was okay but only for sleeping really not a space you would want to have to stay in for a long time. I loved the calm and peaceful feeling of this place.

On arrival it was raining so we were sitting in the car waiting for it to pass over. They came out with umbrellas so we didn't get wet. Very quiet (although we did have a unit away from the road). Very clean
and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty
grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But
mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew
I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

Great Location. All ameneties at hand, restaurants, shopping,
supermarkets etc. Lovely apartment and spacious balcony, ours
overlooking the sea. Miles of lovely clean beaches. Apartment was well
appointed and equipped including plenty supply of coffee, tea etc. bbq
was a good size. Jacuzzi was a nice treat. Ferries nearby to the local
attractions. Staff very helpful, welcoming and friendly.

This motel is just beautiful. The present photos do not do it justice, our studio apartment was fabulous, spacious, lovely decor, large comfortable bed, excellent furnishings, refreshing colours, and immaculately clean.

Excellent Staff! Out of the 3 places we stayed in, the staff here were simply the best, friendly and only too willing to help out, with best places to eat and what attractions to see and offering umbrella's as they could see it was going to rain on our walk. (which it did). We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, and it was like luxury, clean, modern and comfortable with free wifi to top it all off! Hubby now wishes I booked our whole stay here and not just the 1 night.

The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price.
I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!

Welcomed with fresh muffins from really nice hosts. Our cottage was right next door to hosts house yet it was private, clean and had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great place for our break away weekend. Easy access to a variety of attractions, Paihia,Kerikeri etc.
