Just amazing from all aspects. Most definitely the best apartment you can get at that price. Saskia (who owns the apt.) is available 24/7 - Super friendly. Location is superb! It is only a stone throw away from Dam Square and most main attractions. Look no further if searching for accommodation. Trust me on this one!!!

Rudy and Pia are wonderful hosts. I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

The apartment was as advertized,clean, has all conveniences and despite being located close to the city center was quiet and cozy, view is beautiful. JoJo, the owner, met as as agreed at the door, helped with the luggage as stairs are steep (but we were warned about it and did not mind), was very friendly and when we had a question late in the evening replied to cell phone call immediately.

It is about a 15 minute walk with bags from the central train station and 60 feet from Dam Square. You would expect the area to be noisy but we never heard anything! And it's not a big chain hotel!
