We had a great time at the houseboat. The house is well appointed, the owners are great, and the location is the best. We would often sit out on the deck in the evening with a bottle of wine and watch the locals go putting by in their canal boats. We felt like residents. Ordinarily when you retreat inside your apartment, house or hotel room you feel that the clock has stopped on your experience. Not so with this place. We were delighted with our stay in the blue houseboat . The location was perfect for what we wanted to do , ie see the Anne Frank house , the Van Gogh exhibition at the hermitage , the Rijks museum , eating out and wandering the shops of the nine street and Jordaan areas . The houseboat itself was very cosy and spotless , just like sn apartement , with all we could need for our stay. Guy was most welcoming and helpful . It was a lovely way to see Amsterdam .
The houseboat was almost a trip in itself, we loved the place. Great
location, very well furnished and equipped. Excellent choice either for
a couple or families with kids. Kids marveled by the ducks going around
the houseboat. We loved the night view from the little terrace with the
church tower reflecting on the canal, total awe.
Excellent location. The houseboat is situated right in the middle of the Jordaan neighborhood, easy walking distance to the Anne Frank house and excellent restaurants. The boat was very clean and comfortable and certainly a unique experience staying on the canal. The owner was extremely helpful. I highly recommend staying here.
I was in Amsterdam several times, but this visit was the best - thanks
to this place. It is a very special feeling - to live at a place such
this. Everything was excellent. Comfortable, fully equipped, with great
location, and reasonable price. Owner was very friendly. If I could give
rating higher than 10 - I'll do it!.
The location is great in the Jordaan District with access to a local market, sights, and metro/bus transportation. Guy was excellent in that we were able to check in early and check out late. He also did a great job in staying in contact to ensure that all was well during our stay.
The boathouse was perfect; fantastic view over the water, close to
everything; shops, bars, clubs, center, but also a close walk to the
pijp, for some real life of amsterdam! Really enjoyed it and most of
all, the friendliest host!!.

The boat is rough around the edges. The outdoor area is accessed through the only private bedroom. The outdoor area is very small with three people a tight fit. For this amount I expected luxury and found very little. It reminded me of camping.
