When booking a place to stay in Amsterdam, we wanted somewhere central,
comfortable, clean and friendly. Artist Apartments was exactly what we
were looking for and much more. When we arrived from Schipol airport, we
were greeted by the lovely Arvin who showed us around the beautiful one
bedroom apartment. The apartment included a modern open plan kitchen,
ceiling to floor windows, a huge comfortable bed, a reasonably sized
bathroom and a complimentary beautiful bouquet of red roses and

Lovely attentive staff, and personal service - arvin was fantastic. Its very well located - 10 mins walk from central station, near the red light district and china town, with a supermarket right across the square.
It's clear that a lot of attention has gone into the details - complementary toiletries even toothbrushes in the bathroom, salt & pepper, serviettes etc in the kitchenette, Fresh cut flowers and a very comfortable bed. The apartment was very well designed and although small, did.
Not more to add than the title line! Apartment is in great loaction, walking distance from central train station and main attractions of amsterdam.The apartment itself has all neccesary utencils (kitchen, bathroom fully equiped, even with basics cosmetics). Its nice & clean, spacious but cozy and more importantly warm (as its was still freezing outsied).What makes is Excellent is all the little extra touches arranged by arvin - like a welcome gifts (Fruits and sweets)proper tea and cof.
The apartment was very comfortable and spacious, with very good kitchen facilities, elegant decor and immaculately clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage on arrival and departure, and taking the suitcases up and down stairs, which was much appreciated. It is very well situated in the centre of the city, with a metro station on the doorstep and the trams a few minutes walk away, and lots of bars and cafes in the vicinity.
We booked our trip late and probably looked into 20-30 different B&Bs, in search for something not to overclass, but yet not to casual either.
In our search we stumbled upon this amazing apartment which still had a room available.
The owners, staff, interior design, well, basically everything was just perfect. We had a great time in Amsterdam, and this is maybe one of the better stays you could choose if your single, or a young couple. RECOMMENDED.
We love the personal touches that we have, the nespresso was amazing. We save a lot of money on coffees. Location is excellent, we walked everywhere. 40 minutes walk from Heineken beer factory, 20 minutes walk to central train station but we chose the metro on arrival and departure because we had luggage and it was convenient. Definitely will be back and stay here again! Thanks Arvin and Bong :) - wish you every success and see you again.
Everything. The host's thoughtful touches - bowl of fruit and dutch cookies. a Nespresso machine, a selection of tasteful teas, but most of all the genuine warmth of the host. You will love this apartment. This is the first hotel/apartment review where I have found that everything met my expectations and more. Thank you.
We like everything. If you are looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam,
do not search any more: this is The place. The owner and the house
keeper are super friendly, the place has an excelent location. We were
given the apartment at the atic: beautiful decorated, extremely clean,
with a small private terrace.

Easily the best place to stay in central Amsterdam if you're on a budget. It's a guest house, not a hotel, so no breakfast provided, but the room (at the top) was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchenette + roof terrace, and felt very homey and welcoming. Simple but flawless.
Everything. The location is fantastic, the apartment was great (very quiet), and the staff were amazingly nice. Since it is self-catering there are two supermarkets nearby and more cafe/bars than you could wish for. By far the best place to stay in Amsterdam for this price.
Phantastic location, close to everything yet quiet and charming. Beautiful spacious apartment with extra luxuries all around (fancy coffee, quaint balcony, comfy bedding, etc). Owners are super nice and attentive. Just the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam.

You are greeted with flowers, fresh fruit and lots of wonderful coffees

We had the second floor apartment and owing to the nature of the building the stairs were very steep, but we managed them OK with care. The kitchen facilities were very good, and included a nespresso machine, the addition of a toaster would have made it perfect!.
