We spent two nights at Riad Mehdia at the end of a 10 day holiday in Morocco. The staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't hesitate to allow us to leave our luggage there whilst we took a 5 day break to Essaouira (we had stayed at another location in Marrakech for the beginning of our trip). They also allowed us to leave our luggage there after we checked out, as our flight wasn't until the evening, and told us we would be welcome to use the terrace or facilities prior to our departure. .
所有评语 » Hassan and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were met at the airport for €15 surcharge. When we got to the Riad, we were made welcome and offered local Moroccan tea. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and we enjoyed this. On our checkout he kindly allowed us to leave our bags for quite a long time. Hassan also arranged transportation to our next hotel which was really appreciated. The decoration and architecture of the Riad is good and the suite that we stayed in although not . Riad Mehdia is well kept and clean. The staff are very attentive and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty and different each morning and was enjoyed from the beautiful roof terrace. Dinner is also offered at the Riad and is very good. Riad Mehdia is an idyllic place to stay to be amongst the action of the Medina. Great location, great food and so very very friendly. The staff contacted our next Riad in Essaouira to arrange taxis and then walked us to meet him in the square. Very good location for the main square, close enough for a short walk but also out of the madness. Did I say the staff were very friendly? ;) Thank you Riad Mehdia. I enjoyed the calm, the kindness of the staff, the beauty of the place, the design, the practicle location, the breakfasts, the Hammam service, the price and it made me feel so comfortable that I will be staying there for sure when I will travel again to Marrakech and recomand it to the poeple I know. One of the most unique places I've stayed at. The Moroccan architecture and interiors cast a spell over you. And the welcoming staff are more than helpful. Riad's are traditional Moroccan homes and I remember growing up in a similar one in Bahrain. It was a bit like stepping back in the past. My group and I really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast with home made jams with a change of breads everyday, and staff was excellent. We appreciated their attentiveness and helpfulness The riad was quiet despite being on a busy street. We will be back!. I am so pleased I stayed at this Riad, the location is perfect, close enough to the markets but far away enough get some peace. The staff are lovely & the breakfasts there are amazing too. Great place to stay, made our holiday enjoyable. This place was great value, tastefully decorated and I cannot sing enough praises for the staff - so helpful and courteous. The place looks even better in real life than in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this place. The staff were so hospitable, great attention to detail. Beautiful breakfast. Wonderful room. Llovely cats and tortoise. Sun loungers on the roof, heat, hamam, massage. All was amazing. we got a ggreat last minute deal staff were very friendly and accomodating to our needs.We came back at midnight! and we left our luggage there for hours afer checkout. The staff were very helpful. Lovely breakfast on the roof top terrace. Convenient location to the palaces, main square and souks. The staff are among the friendliest people you could ever meet. Not far from the main square and near some good eateries. Proximity to Jamaa el Fna; quiet inside; nice beds; clean room; good breakfast!. The staff was amazingly friendly and the hotel had a genuine maroccan style. Very good location, good breakfast, great staff. Exceptional service. Good terrace. Friendly staff. The directions from the airport. I think the seating furniture in the size of the rooms could have been smaller so that we had a bit more floor space. Our bags had no where to be opened. Room and bedside lighting is always a problem in Moroccan rooms. This isn't a complaint as such, but if you're looking to share a room I wouldn't recommend the economy room as the toilet/shower set up is very intimate! Perfect for solo travellers though. We were unable to open our windows as we were on the ground floor, which opened up to the courtyard. However, once we were there, it didnt matter, as we would just go and sit on the roof. everything was great. Noise travelled in the riad - which is normal with this design. I was in the ground floor room which was lovely, cool and dark but near the front door and kitchen so could hear movements but I got to used to it and it wasn't too disruptive. The bed a little firmer than I was used to...and I didn't even see the pool. Was there one?. Some staff were a bit too enthusiastic about teaching us about Moroccan culture. Not every traveller is equally interested in repeating Moroccan words etc. It was just a little bit tricky to find the hotel in the middle of the medina's maze. I wouldn't choose the same room again. It had no windows and absolutely no privacy in the shower or toillet. Only one electric plug in the room. Woundurful, clean , very helpful team ,mr hassan has excellent managment with his team Value for money, excellent location,staff will help y with every thing. The swimming-pool was too far away from our room, from the terrace. Our room was very small. We booked a room with a private bathroom but it wasn't. There was no shampoo.
