Great place! Super clean and well decorated bungalows. Great staff, super clean beacg, good food, chill music at the restaurant, not too loud. Live music sometimes. Honestly loved this place! Wifi in the rooms...
The location was amazing. Definitely one of the best beach hotels in Tulum. Many of the beaches are very rocky or have seaweed everywhere but Playa Azul has soft sand and they groom the beach regularly.

The view from the room n 20 was great, the room was absolutely awasome. Location amazing, long beach where enjoy nice walk. I love Tulum cause is not busy like other places (Playa del Carmen or Cancun).
Attentive staff, tasteful touches in the room (artwork), large seafront balcony, relaxed beach atmosphere.
Wonderful staff, beautiful cabanas and beach, great bar restaurant experience.

It was a bit overpriced I think. Nothing outrageous but essentially not any cheaper than New York City (where we live). I would still go back though!.
The high winds everyday 8 out of 10 days on the open sea. Too rough to swim.

Water was not of the best quality, didn´t like the personel at the restaurant.
Bike rental and other things through the hotel are more expensive than anywhere else.
The service was awful, we over tipped and ate at the restaurant a few times but the service just wasn't there. In addition, we when asking for ice the bar tenders would get upset and give us attitude in Spanish. We were very upset and will not be staying here again.
