  We stayed here for one night just to experience a traditional ryokan. We found it quite easily. Take the subway to Gojo station on the Karasuma line and exit on the north side. The main street running north is Karasuma Dori, running west is Gojo dori.. Walk to the west & head north on the first little lane you come to.
