  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! From the moment we arrived and were shown where park the car, and the luggage bought to our room when we got back to the moment we left when the luggage was kindly loaded into our car for us.   The rooms were apartment-like, which was awesome, because we had a tendency to get up early morning and not everything was open and thus we could make our own breakfast. Rooms were spotless, location very centrally located and there was even controlled free parking at the near central station. All in all an excellent cost/value proposition.   I thought the Residence was very nice and very well run. Our apartment was comfortable and elegant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant. - Fantastic staff and super clean. Very central location and close to everything. There was a small problem with the hotel wifi and staff worked very quickly to sort it.
