  When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready). Once you get past the front door you will be wowed by the interior design for old Rome. Nina was so friendly and extremely helpful with whatever you requested. We loved that this area was where the locals lived as the restaurants were so much better and cheaper than in the city circle. - Everything was perfect from the start at this little hotel, although I don't know if calling it a hotel if accurate, as it's more like having your own apartment. Although you don't have the same facilities as in a regular hotel, I think it's a perfect place to stay and discover Rome.

  We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and we would recommend it. Excellent location: just two blocks away from Termini train and metro stations. To get there from the airport, We got a bus for just €5. Then it's a very short walk from the station to the hotel. He gave a recommendation for dinner and it was the best place for food and value we ate during the 3 days in Roma. It is also a short walk to the station, which was a big advantage. It is close to the metro, and if you like walking it is an enjoyable walk to most attractions.

We were surprised by how quiet the place was given the lively weekend nightlife in Trastevere. The Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.
