Hosts Viviana and Paulo made us welcome from the moment we walked through the gate. Their place is welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights - another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this place was great.

I would recommand this place to anyone going to Grosseto or near by. - It's located in the 'old town' which is a small old walled city, within the larger city. The pace is slow, relaxed and there's a village feel within the walls. I don't think there are a lot of english speaking tourists, and yet we had no trouble communicating with only basic italian. Fuvia, the owner, is lovely and speaks perfect english, although she is happy to give italian lessons! A lovely stopover on the way from Tuscany to Rome.
