  The hotel is on the main road and easy to find. Walking distance from Alcantara gorge. Very relaxing place. We had the pool almost exclusively to ourself. We even haf a small bar b q by the pool!   The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season.   Excellent!!! The host was young, nice and friendly, he really did care about us and our staying there. The owner was really nice and helped us print our airline ticket in his house. There is a nice area for BBQ out the back, and a little retreat with hammocks. We would recommend this for a group of people to stay as the on-site bar/restaurant is a good place to chill. very comfortable altogether!

  The staff is very helpfull and nice. The hotel is well maintained in a quiet area and the rooms are nicely furnished. Beautyfull garden, enclosed free parking, complimentary breakfast. Gabriela even prepared home made pie and mandorla ice ream for us. Very nice.
