  Loved that the location was so calm and peaceful. The facilities offered a large lounge room, plus large bathroom and bedroom. Felt very spacious.   The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The pool is really big and kept clean and kids have plenty of room to wander about and play. We had a quadruple room which was quite spacious and very clean with quite comfortable beds.   Everything about our stay was ideal and perfect. We absolutely loved the hospitality that Guido and Ada provided, as well as their entire team. The beautifully decorated rooms in such a stunning setting, together with incredible food and wine, plus all the special little touches (such as fresh flowers in the room and even a chocolate bunny on East... 别人怎么说 » er!) were done in such great taste and thoughtfulness. The fruit and vegetables grown on site were amazing to enjoy for breakfast (especially the fres - The attention to detail was amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The country setting was lovely. The only problems we had were returning at the end of a days outing in the car as the GPS did not pick up all the small roads. A very detailed map is important to have. As well there are one way streets in the nearby towns so you don't always follow the same routes leaving the hotel and returning to it.

We got flat with terrace at 3th floor, it was perfect! Very close is small supermarket, bakery, ferry port, many local eating places around. I recommend this small apartment hotel.

  We stayed for 2 days at B&B Porta di Mare. The owner, Michele, provided us the best customer service we have ever had during our trip in Sicily! We stayed in the room at ground floor, which is very spacious, with a/c and with a wonderful bed. Everything was good and I can only recommend it. I really recommend this location not only because of good quality hotel but also because of very very helpful owner.

  Best possible location. Clean, good rooms, nice décor. The Owner very helpful, personally found out for us how to get to Noto by bus. The idea with breakfast in the café is excellent – it’s the best located café opposite il duomo with tables outside, good coffee and croissants and ‘the view’. The street gets busy over the weekends and you can hear people walking and talking until late (but - To be able to lean out the window and look into the centre of Piazza Duomo was just amazing. Very clean comfortable room with a good bathroom, air conditioned and quiet thanks to two rows of double glazing. Sitting in the Piazza Duomo cafe having the included breakfast was fantastic and driving our car out of the hotel's garage through the middle of the pedestrian square like local residents was simply priceless. The owners were really helpful and we can thoroughly recommend this place.
