  Everything in this B&B was fantastic. Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious with a walk in wardrobe, big bathroom with a spa bath, and the best part was the view from our window straight out onto Mt Etna. She gave us a map of the area and recommended re - We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. She gave us great ideas and tips on what to see. Breakfast is also very good. The room is nice and clean. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable. The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.

  The owner Concetta is fantastic. Extremely helpful, friendly and did all she could make our stay unforgettable. When all ferries from Lampedusa was cancelled due to the weather she drove us around town in order to secure some of the few last-minute flight tickets to Palermo. - nice looking hotel good breakfast good service

Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen.   Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, in a good location and provide all the information necessary (in English and Italian) regarding travelling to attractions and restaurants around the island. I was staying there in May 2013. The hotel is located in the very city center in the beginning of a pedestrian area. It is nice looking, new and super clean. Besides all the neccessary stuff like a bed you can also find in the room a big sofa, new tv, Nespresso coffee machine, minibar, wardrobe, etc. The bathroom is also new and bog enough.

  Morning breakfast is typically Italian with lovely home-made jam, brioche, nutella and coffee. The place is secure with private parking facilities behind a locked gate.
