  My daughter and I had an incredible, relaxing time at Villa Pane. Last year I stayed in a hotel in Sorrento but this was much much better.   This is just perfect hotel with a location at Spaccanapoli, close to Santa Chiara. You cant go wrong by staying here. There are a few issues though. First there is no breakfast, no food at all. You're right in the middle if the historical centre of the city with easy access to all the churches etc. the room was clean and if you kept the French doors to the balcony closed, you couldn't hear any traffic noise at all.   A good money-saving place next to Sorrento which is much more expensive. The beach is 160 steps down thus adding to our good physical condition. We travelled with a small dogs and the pets are well accepted. Air-conditioning worked stable. The parking place is enough to hold all the cars (only in the week-ends it is rather packed). - Friendly, helpful staff, even turned on wafer slide especially for our children.   Everything! In particular, the staff was fantastic. They were so welcoming and friendly. The location in Racello is perfect. We went with a group for a friends wedding and all stayed in different hotels in Ravello. Ours was by far the best location because it was so central to the main plaza. They also prepared breakfast for us the night before our checkout as - We had an apartment. Didn't use kitchen area as we ate at the family ristorante Vittoria. The breakfast of juice, cereal, cake, pastry, rolls and jam with coffee or tea was served in the sweet garden setting and was plentiful. Hostess Maria was very helpful. Ensure your credit card has a pin. Signature along does not work. We chose to book transport back to Naples airport rather than rely on 4modes of public transport as connections are poor. Their restaurant isn't always open for dinner so make sure you have lunch there as the food is delicious. It's about a 30min walk to Anacapri but if you don't want to walk they will drive you there and pick you up whenever you want. The distance out of town is worth it for the view and peaceful surrounds.
