  Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

  The B&B was our base for two night while we got to know Catania. Valentina was a gracious host and provided an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and cakes. The room was off a small courtyard in a gracious old building. We had two rooms plus bathroom, so was very spacious.   The place had a cosy and warm atmosphere. Everyone had an open access to the kitchen which was combined with dinning room, where cakes, coffee, tea, juice, water and other things were available at any time of the day. My room had an external bathroom, which wasn´t a problem, since it was just 3 steps from my room. Excellent place an - Hotel is absolutely fantastic. you can realy feel like home. Big rooms, all day acces to the kitchen, clean. It is in the center so it is noisy from the street but after dinner its becoming quiet. You have 5 minutes to main road and restaurants. The street market with fresh fruits, chees, seafoodis round the corner. Staff is unbelivebly friendly and it was the best hoteli have ever been. Feels like home!
