  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela! However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

  excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... 别人怎么说 » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  At first-extremely friendly, hospital and helpful staff and both of them spoke excellent English. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))

  The B&B was our base for two night while we got to know Catania. Valentina was a gracious host and provided an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and cakes. The room was off a small courtyard in a gracious old building. We had two rooms plus bathroom, so was very spacious.   One of the most wonderful stays my partner and I have EVER had!! Massimiliano is awesome, lovely, hospitable and nothing too much. I even got a little unwell during our stay and he helped with some medication. Breakfast was fresh and local produce daily, brilliant spread. Parking was close to the hotel and getting in - The place is great!!! It is exactly in the city center (5 meters from the Fontana dell’ Elefante). Although it is in a city center, it is very quiet and peaceful place! The owner, Massimiliano is just WOW. He was very kind and ready to do everything for his quests to enjoy the stay in Al Duomo Inn and in Catania. We will certainly come again to this B&B! We used our stay in Catania to visit Syracuse, Etna and Taormina! All of these places are amazing! A small tip for those traveling by car
