However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

The B&B has been beautifully refurbished to the highest of standards. Located in a down at heel piazza close to the fish market and adjacent to the railway line, first impressions aren't encouraging. Inside, however, the accommodation is truly excellent. Recently refurbished throughout, the style is contemporary but homely. Exceptionally comfortable and clean with efficient air conditioning, large bathrooms/showers, good storage space and excellent breakfast.
