  I thought that the hotels public areas were very classy. The staff were exceedingly cheerful and helpful. The food was excellent in my opinion the best hotel food that I have had in any 4 star hotel. The individually cooked breakfast was a real bonus. So much better that the self service offered at mosy hotels of this standard.   Although CityNorth is out of town in Dublin terms, it is yards from the M1 motorway and therefore very convenient for North-South travellers. The car park is vast and has the advantage of being at the front of the hotel building, so arrival and departure is very smooth indeed. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had requested a smoking room as my husband smokes and we were upgraded to an executive suite at no extra cost as it was an available smoking room, it was just beautiful, huge, with robes, slippers, fresh fruit, sparkling water etc. We have stayed a few times on the way to or from Dublin airport but this was our 1st time to stay strictly for leisure and it will not be our last, there is a lovely walkway which will bring you to Gormanstoun Castle a
