Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! Staff were very helpful! They booked us a cheap ride from the hostel to the airport since we had a 6:30am flight. Facilities were clean, hot showers, and clean sheets including sheet over the comforter. I would def stay here again. It is a very central location to Temple Bar area, Grafton Street, and O'Connell Street. Everything you need is right on your doorstep.
The facilities (even the shared shower rooms/ toilets) are very clean, and the bedrooms themselves are very clean. This is the 2nd time i've stayed here and I would definitely recommend to others!

I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .
