We felt at home straight away thanks to the excellent friendly staff.Our room was extremely comfortable, furnished to a very high standard,had a beautiful king size bed and was exceptionally clean. Lovely old manor house with a very large parking area out front. Were greeted right away by the Lodge's owner who helped us with our luggage. The rooms were beautiful, large and clean overlooking their garden area. Were given really good directions, and a book with hints on what to see in Cork...even given a lift in cause he had an errand to run

Excellent Meals, although getting tea at breakfast was hard work. Had dinner at hotel one night and next night attended a formal function (with 350 others) at hotel and food and service were really excellent in both cases. - The refurbishment of the hotel has been a complete success. The room upgrades are excellent.
