  We travelled as 4 adults and stumbled across arch house on our way back to Dublin. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything better and the price was great. The apartment was a great size and had to bathrooms with a well equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer which was extremely handy.   Ideal location for golfers, people who fish, or anyone who wants to visit Athlone town. We were very impressed from the minute we arrived at the B/B to the time we left. Breakfast was delicious with as good a choice as a top class hotel. This family run B/B has all any one would need and we would love to return. - Niamh and Ronan were very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. We used our towels and wanted to re-use them. Niamh left notes to tell us who used which towel. She was so kind. They recommended many different types of eatery and suggested pre-booking. We had 2 beautiful meals out in Athlone. The sat nav co-ordinates were spot-on.

  We were contacted prior to arrival confirming arrival,which was a nice surprise. When we arrived we were greeted at the door . Tea and homemade scones ready upon arrival and Alacoque & Gerry made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed.   Wanting to visit Athlon, yet wishing to be outside the town center, and The Mill Bar was perfect. The rooms while not overly large we're clean and comfortable.
