Very easy access to the center, is difficult to say how much we enjoyed to stay at Vinland! - This is a good location to be based for exploring the north eastern regions. The guesthouse is situation in a quiet location facing faraway mountains. The inerior is modernly designed and this one of the most well equipped guesthouses we had stayed in Iceland - microwave, hair dryer, electric kettle, cutlery, plates and TV, all at a reasonable price as compared to staying near to Dettifoss area.

  Location was great. Call the number to speak to the owner and he will tell you how to find it. Very clean, well appointed and by Icelandic standards, very good value for money. Next door to a restaurant, which was pricey but very good and a couple of bars in the town if that's your thing. Apartment has everything you might need if it isn'T. It's a good place to crash while waiting for the ferry. Good location too, you hook a left up Fagradalsbraut when exiting the parking lot, hook another left a bit further up the road and you are on your way to Seyðisfjörður and the ferry.
