This was my fith time in Iceland, and this guesthouse was the best thing I ever found in Iceland, the owner is the most friendly person in gthe whole country, not kidding! We were stuck in the snow and he kindly took us to the supermarket and also showed us the town, the rooms have all the facilities you need, and a mega power vulcanic shower! Internet is really fast. Very easy access to the center, is difficult to say how much we enjoyed to stay at Vinland!.
所有评语 » This is a good location to be based for exploring the north eastern regions. The guesthouse is situation in a quiet location facing faraway mountains. The inerior is modernly designed and this one of the most well equipped guesthouses we had stayed in Iceland - microwave, hair dryer, electric kettle, cutlery, plates and TV, all at a reasonable price as compared to staying near to Dettifoss area. We stayed there for one night on the way from south to north Iceland. It is located next to the main road, road no.1. There are a microwave oven and some cutlery and a kettle in the room, but we couldn't find any dish cleanser to wash them afterwards. The owner spent time with us and gave us good information on driving and how to get to places of interest. The unit was very clean and the bathroom was grand. The best bathroom in all of the places we stayed in our entire week on the island. The guesthouse is very nice, the owner is very friendly and has a lot of ideas and recommendations of what to visit. The room was great (we stayed 4 nights). The location is very good to start day tours. Really recommendable!. The owner is extremely friendly and nice. Room size is good, new and clean facilities. The three rooms we stayed were a house in the middle of a hill. Stunning views outside the room overlooking the countryside. Nice environment, very quiet location not far from Egilsstadir if you have a car. Clean rooms with wifi internet acces for free. Kindly recptionist. Near city. The staff is very helpful, he will give opinion on our next day trip, the best way/ path, what can be seen. Basic bedroom and bathroom which was clean and comfortable. small room no space !!!. was clean. They are some steps. We had to carry our big suitcases up. We really have nothing negative to say, except that we got new towels every day in the bathroom :). Only accessible if you are driving because it is far from city center. A bit small room for more than two people. Don't serve breakfast (thoug you hav a microwave oven and coffe-tea making facilities in room, though). You need a car. They haven't breakfast. Room was warm on a sunny day - I had to open the door because the window didn't open far enough No breakfast but there is a store nearby. Nothing. fridge didn't work. Rooms have little charm and feel institutional. Price seemed a bit high compared to other places we stayed. No breakfast. If there is a curtain to block the door window, the place is really great. At the moment everyone passes by our apartment can see through including the bathroom door. The price seems very high when compare to the facilities, it is the most expensive guesthouse among our trip. While we don't found its give more excellent facilities (its still good, while the same as other), or in excellent location. The worst case is that water drop fm the toilet ceiling. rooms not the same as my reservation. Were located in old house.
