  The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. We made good use of the tiny whitewashed traffic free streets (well apart from the occasional motorbike or mule train) that we accessed from the - Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated and clean, with air conditioning (when the balcony door is shut), with bed, desk and chair, wardrobes, draws etc, and a fridge. The swimming pool is located at the rear of the hotel thankfully!!!! As most other hotels there have them at the front, so that the crowds are always passing by (not very privat... 别人怎么说 » e). The whole family owned this hotel was quite friendly and warm. Becides of the free pickup from/to port and airport, Mr.Argyros even drove his van to show us around the downtown of Kamari village and pointed out the location of supermarkets, post office and bus stops. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Atalos very much!

But just rent a scooter - car - ATV and you get to the nicest beaches on santorini. Nice little roof top terrace with loungers and seating with good views. For the price which included pick up from airport and transfer to port a little gem.
