  The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  We had a wonderful week at Hotel Semeli. It is a very beautiful, nice and well kept hotel with very service minded and nice staff. The pool area is also very relaxing and the pool is clean and big enough to swim in. The breakfast veranda is amazing with a beautiful sea view.
