  I needed a late night stopover so chose the cheapest hotel I could find, not really expecting much, just a place to crash for one night. It was a delight to find such a genuine, friendly, helpful place.   The hotel is situated in an old part of Athens called the Plaka. It is right by the Accropolis and Hadrians Gate. Very central within walking distance to the center of town. 5 minutes from the Metro. There are shops and restaurants close by and an excellent old town square. There are two PCs in the lobby and genrally really good value for money. Side view of th - Great location...helpful and friendly staff...very good price...very clean...The man that works during breakfast even remembered the reason I was in Athens and introduced me to a woman who worked in a similar field to me - I was surprised he remembered what I did. He may have sparked a new friendship/colleague :) I would recommend Adam's Hotel.

  The location of the hotel is excellent. It's in between of Syntagma Square and the Acropolis. If you're catching the X95 to the airport, it's about 5-7 minutes walk to Syntagma. It's also very close to Adrianou street, which leads to the Acropolis. The hotel also has a rooftop garden, which offers good view to the Acro - The staff were fantastic in helping us sort out our onward travel arrangements - responding quickly and positively to emails before we arrived and making phone calls when we were there. The location within easy walking distance from Syntagma Metro station makes it easy to get to and from, and it is close to the centre of Athens for sightseeing and shopping. We will go back again.

  This is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in. The staff were outstanding. Very helpful with suggestions particularly for restaurants in the area and catching the metro/ferries etc. The room was large and very comfortable with a mini kitchen.   The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go
