The location of the hotel is excellent. It's in between of Syntagma Square and the Acropolis. If you're catching the X95 to the airport, it's about 5-7 minutes walk to Syntagma. It's also very close to Adrianou street, which leads to the Acropolis. This street is full of souvenir shops and opens everyday until very late (around 11pm), although it's quite touristic, but we found it a good place to stroll around after dinner. The hotel also has a rooftop garden, which offers good view to the Acro.
所有评语 » The staff were fantastic in helping us sort out our onward travel arrangements - responding quickly and positively to emails before we arrived and making phone calls when we were there. The location within easy walking distance from Syntagma Metro station makes it easy to get to and from, and it is close to the centre of Athens for sightseeing and shopping. We will go back again. All staff were lovely and helpful, memory foam bed and pillows are divine!! Clean everyday, air con fantastic, tv, fridge and safe. Lovely wee balcony with table and view from top balcony of acropolis at night stunning. In perfect location right in plaka walking distance to everything. Nice restaurants, sights only needed metro to go to port. We returned to kimon again after our islands trip for one night. The lady was again very friendly and upgraded us to a larger room on the top floor. Shower was lovely and nice to have private balcony. Also love the veranda where we watched the acropolis and ate our dinner. Walking distance to major sites. AC was great. Maria and Theodora, who make breakfast on the rooftop terrace, were great! Reception staff who spoke English were very helpful with giving directions and calling sites to make inquiries. Great location, walking distance to the parliament, acropolis and monastriaki, many restaurants nearby. Room is nice and clean. Staff members speak good English and gives good recommendations in where to dine and places to visit. Very freindly staff, always available to help. Nice terrace with partial view to Acropolis. Good location, close to Syntagma subway (5-7minutes) , secondary Acropolis entrance (10-15min) and Monastiraki (10minutes) Quiet at night. Location is perfect, close to the Acropolis and all the sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace is really nice. The room was equipped with all the necessary facilities, they cleaned it every day. The staff were amazing and our luggage, left in the foyer for a whole 12 hours, was totally safe, how awesome is that! The room was comfortable and it had the best shower of our whole trip!! The location is easy to find ,but need to walk a while from Metro station,it is a little harder to find if you check in in evening.The wifi is good. The shower place is very small. I'm only 160cm tall, anyone bigger won't be able to take shower without contacting the glass doors. There is really nothing we didn't like, but be aware that there is no lift so if you have restricted movement then getting up to your room may be an issue. The staff carried our bags to the room, so that was not a problem. Can hear neighbors through walls, only one night disrupted, we had very rude neighbours who arrived at 3am and were yelling and showering very loudly, not hotels fault just other guests who had no respect but we loved the hotel. There were ants in bathroom only a few and we didn't have this problem in our stay the week before so probably a one off. Some of the reception staff spoke poor English which I didn't expect with such a high review. Outlets in our room were poorly placed behind beds and not in the bathroom or near a mirror. A minor inconvenience but it gets annoying after a few days. Nothing, everything was ok. We liked it all, a brilliant place for a couple of nights in Athens, central and lots of good shopping nearby, plus of course lots of ruins too!. There is no breakfast, and charge a liitle expensive. nothing. nothing. Nothing!. Nothing. Breakfast was not included and it was not what we expected. Room is bit small.If you will stay longer than 2 nights you can feel depressed. Not having a lift, and no one to help with bags to the 3rd floor. Breakfast - it was better to buy breakfast in some other cafes nearby. No acropolis view from the room but this is not affecting the comfort of our stay. Weak wifi. weak internet. Noisy ?Thin walls. Wouldn't have been an issue if not for the exceptionally selfish irritating people in the next room. Bathroom needs an update. Its hard to keep a dilapidated bathroom clean. There is no elevater in the hotel and you need to carry all your luggage upstairs,and no one help you.The light in the floor is not open 24 hours cause it is very dark in every floor and you need to manual open it when you be there. I stayed in a budget single room, and have nothing good to say about it. Although I realise this was a budget room, I was not happy with the damp smell, no external window and size of the room. The bathroom had some crack on the beams. The staff was composed by people very skilled and knowledgable of the area, but in regards to the tours only one of them could really help us.The single room I had was really small. No sound insulation in the room whatsoever, bathroom is very small, but you get what you are paying for I think. The stairs. We had to climb a huge amont of stairs carrying our lugagge. The lack of a lift. The stairs without . hand support.
